Dr. Naz is a mental health therapist, keynote speaker, and the Chief Operating Officer of Different Spectrums, a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting autistic, ADHD, and neurodivergent communities, with a special commitment to Black and Brown individuals and student athletes.

With more than eleven years of clinical experience, he specializes in autism, ADHD, trauma, identity development, and the unique mental health needs of BIPOC communities. As an autistic and neurodivergent clinician himself, he brings lived experience to his work, offering a depth of understanding, cultural attunement, and empathy that extends far beyond traditional clinical training.

Raised in Flint and Saginaw, Michigan, Dr. Naz blends his doctorate-level training with the resilience and humility shaped by his upbringing. Clients value his ability to create a therapeutic space where humor, honesty, and emotional safety coexist. He supports individuals seeking clarity, healing, life skills, confidence, or simply someone who finally understands the neurodivergent experience from the inside.

Beyond individual therapy, Dr. Naz is a nationally recognized educator and speaker. He has delivered keynote speeches at conferences across the country, trained school districts and counseling centers, and presented to professional organizations including the Indianapolis Colts. His work also includes guest lecturing at multiple universities and conducting large-scale trainings on autism, neurodiversity, and culturally affirming mental health care.

Dr. Naz is also a co-creator and host of the award-winning Different Spectrums Podcast, ranked in the top tier of global mental health podcasts with an audience of over forty thousand listeners. The show blends humor, media analysis, and therapeutic insight to help neurodivergent and BIPOC communities feel seen, understood, and empowered.

To his clients and community, this work is more than a career — it is his purpose. He is known for showing up authentically, supporting fiercely, and standing with individuals through every challenge, breakthrough, and moment of growth.

Outside his professional life, he enjoys pickup basketball, weightlifting, yoga, and is currently adding golf and fishing into his routine. He loves reading comics and half-finished books, and winds down with his favorite comedies on Netflix, Disney Plus, and Hulu.

Through every role he holds, Dr. Naz continues to educate, advocate, and reshape how the world understands and supports neurodivergent and diverse minds.
